San Andreas Movie Review 

San Andreas came out two weeks ago making $54.59 million dollars the first three days it came out. It stars Dwayne Johnson (Furious 7) and Carla Gucino (Watchmen) as the two main characters. It also stars Alexandra Daddario (Percy Jackson), Colton Hayes (Arrow), Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic 4) and Pual Giamatti (Win Win).

Tons of people have came to seen this movie for it's beautiful CGI and sound effects but in a year your going to see it on the 1.99 Movies at Salvation Army. This film's awfulness proves that Cinema viewers are lowering their standards. It fills it's self up with so many cliches and it's so predictable. Dwayne Johnson is Superman in this movie. Nothing happens to him. In fact the whole film is about following their family surviving with everything good going their way. But ignore the fact that more than a million people died in the earthquake and tsunami. 

It started with a good opening scene the girl is in her car and she falls of the cliff when a rock slide hits her. Then Dwayne and his rescue team come to save her. Not bad. But then they set up the awful cliche of Dwayne being divorced which their obviously going to be back together. Then the earthquakes happen. To tell you the truth the science part of the story is not bad and Pual Giamatti gives the best performance in the film but you can't really expect good acting from a film like this. I understand that some people just like to watch disaster films for the dumbness of it but this film was just so far fetched it's ridiculous. Also if you catch the end of the film when the U.S. flag is in the background and the wife says "What do we do know?" and Dwayne says "We rebuild." Watch San Andreas today in theaters.

Language: One use of the F word in a comedic way and some uses of sh** and damn. 

Violence: It's implied that more than a million people are dead. It graphically depicts people falling no blood is shown. Blood is only shown very little in injuries.

Inappropriateness: A man and a woman kiss. A husband kisses his wife.

OVERALL RANKING: 2
